These are probably the most fun pair of printed leggings Taylor has ever worn and I love them for their unique watercolour look! Plus, they’re the standout piece in an outfit that coordinates white, blue, and turquoise tones.

Back on track!
After a less than flattering and oddly paired lace jumpsuit worn the night before, Taylor was back at A+ cute casual chic this morning in New York City. Pairing light ripped denim with clean white Keds, a cute tee and a plaid shirt.
Much better than last night, with a new cute pair of sunglasses and a pink lip to boot!

In retrospect I probably would have preferred a different layered topper or just nixing the unbuttoned plaid shirt entirely. Otherwise, the rest of the outfit remains as cute and casual as first described.

J Brand ‘811 Photo Ready Mid-Rise Skinny in Vanity’ - $185.00
Distinctive by its button design, Taylor wore a pair of jeans by J Brand. I think with this outfit a pair of slim black trousers may have worked better. The jeans and tee give it too much of a relaxed vibe while the bold red lip and glam choker say “party.”

With so few outings to choose from, I’m forced for a second time in FOOTY history to select a cheat moment — a coat thrown on top of a red carpet look. The first being this Louis Vuitton moment from 2016.
A sweetly monochrome Cinderella-worthy look. That blue wool coat is stunning.

If you’re a longtime TSSer you may recall that I’ve been hoping for Taylor to wear more of Australian brand Zimmermann since dating back to at least 2016. It’s lovely to have a wish fulfilled.
Taylor also continued her so far unbroken floral streak with this flouncy dress. I like the combination of this with her Clueless-esque oversized tweed blazer.

Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2013 Couture - no listing available
I woke up this morning and quite frankly stopped breathing.
There is absolutely nothing I would change.
The makeup, the hair, the accessories, those perfectly minimalist shoes, the choker, the plunging neckline, the thigh slit. Taylor in this gorgeous “vintage” Alexandre Vauthier couture gown (a designer I have been dying to see her in on the red carpet) is - down to every last detail - a freaking dream.
Bravo, Joseph. This one is for Taylor’s fashion hall of fame and it will be seen in my 2016 Favourite Outfits list.
In many ways this look actually reminds me of her 2013 BRITs ensemble - but even better.

Starting couture day off with a bang and one of my personal favourite red carpet appearances by Taylor ever. Everything about this is still perfect, four years later.

Atelier Versace dress
It’s no surprise that to end out the Era of the Crop Top, she would go all out for music’s biggest night in this bold and vibrant bandeau and maxi skirt by Versace.
My initial impression was “Malibu Barbie Anna Wintour”
What came shortly after was me thinking that I came this||close to predicting an extremely similar silhouette by J. Mendel. And my third impression was HAH. I finally landed a correct brand guess from my prediction post!
Overall, I love that she went for it in terms of colour (no metallics! yay!) but would have preferred the skirt in a different colour + cut and different material as the fuchsia and sheen of the skirt are both giving me hard no vibes. As is, it’s like her last year’s Elie Saab gown got given a new colour treatment and slashed at the waist.

Lovers + Friends ‘Contessa Skirt’ - $140.00If you guys have been following me for long enough, you know that I’m a total sucker for a blonde in yellow - so I’m kind of dying over this co-ord set on Taylor. I personally would have just dropped the bag and opted for something to match the shoes but otherwise I love the way the jacket brings out a tough city slicker edge to this otherwise girly laser cutout ensemble.

Here we are four years later and I’m still a sucker for a Blondes In Yellow™ moment. Looking back, I still think the bag and shoes are the wrong accessories for the look. While unconventional, if the intent was to mix styles (girly with a tougher piece like the bomber jacket) a studded or netted pair of heels like these by Gianvito Rossi would have been a better choice, imo.

I still stand by my original note that the shape of these sunnies definitely helped the retro vibe of this outfit. Looking back, I love seeing that berry lip to coincide with the bodysuit and skirt.
